The motivation of the project focuses on the structural changes marked in the tourism industry and the airline market after web 2.0: Consolidation of low-cost companies and the entry of Airbnb.
The hypothesis of the project consists in evaluating how these changes have had permanent repercussions on the markets with more relevant microeconomic and macroeconomic consequences.
The project strategy focuses on identifying points of scientific interest that can be addressed with the capacities of the research and collaborating staff.
The proposed objectives focus on economic analysis, tools, methodology and policy evaluation.
