Master in Economics and Industrial Markets from the Carlos III University of Madrid and Doctor in Economics from the University of La Laguna. He began his teaching career at the University School of Tourism of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in 2018. In 2023 he joined the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where today he works as an Assistant Professor. He has worked as a consultant for the Canarian Institute of Statistics (ISTAC), the Government of the Canary Islands, and the island councils of Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Tenerife. He has published scientific articles on topics related to the economic analysis of tourism and the economics of the environment: evaluation of environmental impacts, economic evaluation, determinants of demand, tariff design, design of behavioral interventions.
